Welcome Riders and Visitors!
The
Harley-Davidson® Buell® of Medicine Hat store opened almost 2 decades
ago, and has always been a popular stop for a lot of Medicine Hat residents
as well as many visitors to the city. The original store was located in the
light industrial area in the southeast corner of the city. In 1996, the
store was purchased by Ivan and Wendy Karsten, and eventually moved to it's
present location in Dunmore, AB, just east of Medicine Hat on the #1
Highway.

Harley-Davidson History
It all began back in 1901 when a young man named William S. Harley completed a
blueprint drawing of an engine which was designed to fit into a bicycle. The 10
foot x 15 foot wooden shed was the first factory (in 1903) where 21 year old
William, along with 20 year old Arthur Davidson, built the first bike. In April
of 1903, Arthur's brother Walter quit his job in 1907 to join in as well. And
the rest is history, as they say.
